Will esports be included as a medal event at the 2028 Olympics?

While the IOC has shown increasing openness to esports, the 2028 program is largely finalized and does not include esports as a medal event. The Olympic Esports Games are planned as a separate event. Full integration as a medal sport would require significant structural changes unlikely to happen by 2028.

Resolves YES if the IOC includes any competitive video gaming title as an official medal sport at the 2028 Olympics with medals counted in the official tally.
