Drone delivery services from Zipline, Wing (Alphabet), and Amazon Prime Air are expanding rapidly from initial pilot programs. FAA regulatory pathways are becoming clearer, and several operators have received Part 135 certification. However, scaling to 20+ cities requires overcoming airspace management, noise regulations, weather reliability, and local government permitting in each metro area, which is a significant operational challenge.
