Will a new branch of the US military be created before 2029?

Creating a new military branch requires an act of Congress and involves enormous bureaucratic, budgetary, and political complexity. The Space Force took decades of advocacy before its 2019 creation. While a "Cyber Force" concept has some advocates, there is no serious legislative momentum, and the existing services strongly resist losing cyber missions and personnel. The institutional barriers make a new branch creation before 2029 extremely unlikely.

Resolves YES if a new independent military branch is established by federal legislation before January 1, 2029. Reorganizations within existing branches do not count.
