Parasite's 2020 Best Picture win broke a historic barrier and expanded the Academy's willingness to honor non-English films. International films have received more Best Picture nominations since then. However, the structural advantages of English-language films in the Academy voting membership (predominantly American and British) remain strong. Over a 3-year window, the probability of at least one non-English winner is meaningful but not dominant.

Resolves YES if a non-English language film wins Best Picture at the 2026, 2027, or 2028 Academy Awards ceremony. The primary spoken language of the film must not be English.
